Who we are

SKE was opened in 2011 by the Whaley family from the UK who decided they could make a difference to the lives of the local Hong Kong people. It was founded on the belief that we didn’t want to fit into the educational system, but to change it for the better. We have come a long way from our beginnings and have learnt how we can best serve the Sai Kung and Hong Kong people. SKE is now positioned as the largest provider of English classes in Sai Kung but there is still a lot more we want to achieve.
